The Kawakawa Station Walk follows farm and bush tracks on privately owned land. The Station owners allow visitors to use the tracks once visitors have read, understood and signed Kawakawa Stations Health and Safety Policy outlining potential hazards that may be encountered during a visit to the property.

At Kawakawa Station we take the health and safety of our visitors very seriously. We have taken all practical steps to make the tracks as safe as possible. There will be a Health and Safety briefing on the night of your arrival. During this briefing, you will be shown how to use the VHF radio so you are able to have contact with the Homestead if needed. You will also be provided with a track map to help guide your journey. It the responsibility of visitors to attend this important meeting and to take all precautions outlined at the briefing and in the Health and Safety Policy.

All visitors enter the property and walk the tracks at their own risk. The owners take no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, sickness or expense incurred while visiting Kawakawa Station. If you wish to cancel your booking, your deposit will be refunded minus a $150 administration fee, if 30 days prior notice is given. If a severe weather event affects your booking, we will contact you as far in advance as possible and reschedule your walk for another suitable date.

PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information and keeping it secure. Personal information collected will be used lawfully (in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993). 

We will only use your personal information for the services provided by or in relation to Kawakawa Station. The information we collect about customers includes you name, address, phone number, payment, credit and billing information and email addresses.

Our secure online booking system is provided by SEEKOM. Personal information is held on their secure servers. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure they have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected online.
